Save, rename, move, delete a Screen
Once you've populated your Screen with Objects and you've applied all appropriate Selections and filters to your data, you need to save it before exiting Design mode.
Save a Screen
To save a Screen, click on the SAVE button in the Top Menu.
If you try to leave the page without saving changes, a warning message will appear: from that popup window you'll be able to return to the current Screen or to save/discard your changes before moving to another page.
Any Screen configuration saved in Design Mode becomes permanent, i.e. the saved Screen configuration will be the default one the end user will see when accessing the Screen.
Rename a Screen
To rename a Screen, you need to activate Design mode.
Once Design mode is active, access your Screen and proceed as follows:
In the Screen Properties panel on the right, go to the "Data" tab. Make sure not to select an Object, otherwise you will access the Object Properties panel and not the Screen Properties panel
In the "Screen name" field write a new name for your Screen. The Screen name will also be immediately replaced in the navigation left panel.
The Screen name can be any number of characters long and can include any Unicode characters except the following:\ / : * " < > |
Save your Screen to apply your changes
Move a Screen
To move a Screen to a different position, you need to activate Design mode.
Once Design mode is active, locate your Screen in the left panel and drag and drop it anywhere in the Screen list. Drop it on a Screen folder to move it to that folder.
Move a folder
To move a folder, you need to activate Design mode.
Once Design mode is active, simply drag the folder and drop it where you want it to move in the tree structure.
By dropping a folder on another folder, you will make the former a subfolder of the latter.
Delete a Screen
To delete a Screen, you need to activate Design mode.
Once Design mode is active, proceed as follows:
In the left panel, hover over the Screen you want to delete, click on the three-dot icon that appears on the right side of it or right click over the Screen
Click "Delete"
A confirmation pop-up window will appear. Click "YES"
The Screen you just deleted disappears from the left panel and also from any Screen list in Play mode
Deleting a Screen deletes all its Objects and configuration settings. This action cannot be undone.
