Click on the down-facing arrow next to the Entity name (or a previously selected Entity member) to open the members list. 2. Select the desired Entity member by clicking on it. You can also make a selection by clicking on the Entity name (or a previously selected Entity member) and typing the desired member's name. This feature is particularly useful when the associated Entity includes a large number of members. Search results will automatically appear below as you type: once you've located the Entity member you want to select, click on it. The selection is applied as soon as you pick a member: once done, the data displayed by all other Objects on the Screen will instantly update to reflect the current selection, as shown below. ![contents/assets/images/pager-year-NEW.gif](https://cdn.document360.io/8d6f1ae8-0cac-4d0d-a208-6245b83df94a/Images/Documentation/interacting-with-a-pager-object-image-fio1eja9.png) When a selection is applied, the background of the selected member in the dropdown list turns white while the background of all other members turns gray, as in the following example: ![contents/assets/images/assets/images/selected.png](https://cdn.document360.io/8d6f1ae8-0cac-4d0d-a208-6245b83df94a/Images/Documentation/interacting-with-a-pager-object-image-lc8iju9c.png) ## Pager navigation controls When a selection is applied, you can navigate between members in the list using the navigation controls. Depending on the Pager configuration, they may appear after the dropdown menu or in a floating panel, as shown below. > [!TIP] > **Navigation controls after the dropdown menu** > > ![contents/assets/images/assets/images/navigation-controls.png](https://cdn.document360.io/8d6f1ae8-0cac-4d0d-a208-6245b83df94a/Images/Documentation/interacting-with-a-pager-object-image-8ozwjwlw.png) > [!TIP] > **Navigation controls in the floating panel. The floating panel can be accessed by clicking on the three dots icon ( ![contents/assets/images/assets/images/3 dots.png](https://cdn.document360.io/8d6f1ae8-0cac-4d0d-a208-6245b83df94a/Images/Documentation/interacting-with-a-pager-object-image-mekcfzep.png) ) on the right side of the Pager** > > ![contents/assets/images/assets/images/floating-controls.png](https://cdn.document360.io/8d6f1ae8-0cac-4d0d-a208-6245b83df94a/Images/Documentation/interacting-with-a-pager-object-image-ge592sjq.png) > [!NOTE] > Clicking the "previous" icon ![contents/assets/images/arrow-expander-left-16.png](https://cdn.document360.io/8d6f1ae8-0cac-4d0d-a208-6245b83df94a/Images/Documentation/interacting-with-a-pager-object-image-ejxhqd3g.png) or the "next" icon ![contents/assets/images/arrow-expander-right-16.png](https://cdn.document360.io/8d6f1ae8-0cac-4d0d-a208-6245b83df94a/Images/Documentation/interacting-with-a-pager-object-image-ni6snxly.png)will immediately update the current selection and the data displayed by all other Objects on the Screen. ## How to reset a selection on a Pager To reset the selection to the default state, click the reset selection icon ![contents/assets/images/refresh.png](https://cdn.document360.io/8d6f1ae8-0cac-4d0d-a208-6245b83df94a/Images/Documentation/interacting-with-a-pager-object-image-7pvnjw9f.png) . Depending on the Pager configuration, the reset selection icon may not be available. ## Use of Substitution Formulas This component supports Substitution Formulas such as @Selection, @Selection_Ex, and @[entityname]. These formulas can include advanced parameters such as Offset, allowing dynamic retrieval of values based on the current selection. Substitution Formulas reflect the current selection context when evaluated and behave consistently across the Platform. For full syntax and parameter details, refer to the [Substitution Formulas](/v15/docs/substitution-formulas) documentation.
