This article highlights the development work released to production throughout May 2025, including new features and enhancements, and bug fixes, made available to all users.
No Manual Upgrades Required
All updates to the Board Foresight application are version-controlled and automatically deployed, so customers always have access to the latest version without needing to manually upgrade.
Feature Releases and Enhancements
Transformations
Transformations can now be applied directly from the Workbench page, streamlining the workflow and eliminating the need to navigate to a separate view.
Data and Discover Improvements
NAICS Filtering Support: Users can now filter by all 4-digit NAICS industry codes. The system automatically maps the selected code to the appropriate Industry Graph and runs the Discover job using that mapped industry context.
Smarter Workbench Creation: Improved logic behind automatic Workbench creation to provide more relevant and targeted indicator selections based on the chosen context.
Additional Data Sources:
The platform now includes expanded datasets from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), increasing global economic data coverage.
New datasets from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) have been added, further enriching agricultural and commodity-related insights.
Bug Fixes
This update includes bug fixes related to:
Charting and Display
Composite formulas using logic such as
IF(A, A, B)
now function correctly with the Trim option. Users can also update the Trim setting after the composite indicator has been created. When data is manually uploaded through the Upload process, the date range now displays correctly on the metadata screen.
Users can now reliably select and unselect models when performing bulk actions in the model interface.
The Component Contribution Report (CCR) is now properly displayed on the Compare tab.
The Waterfall chart has been enhanced to display values with precision up to two decimal places.
Search and Discover
Data sourced from Dutch Futures and Lumber now updates correctly and reflects the most recent values.
The End Date field in Discover Jobs now functions as a minimum end date filter, resolving prior inconsistencies in date selection.
Leading and trailing spaces in search queries are now automatically trimmed, improving search accuracy across the platform.
Resolved an unexpected issue that temporarily prevented users from creating a Workbench after selecting multiple indicators from the Global Intelligence Cloud. This functionality, which previously worked as expected, is now restored.
