This article highlights the development work released to production throughout September 2025, including new features and enhancements, and bug fixes, made available to all users.
No Manual Upgrades Required
All updates to the Board Foresight application are version-controlled and automatically deployed, so customers always have access to the latest version without needing to manually upgrade.
Feature Releases and Enhancements
Transformations
Signals Output: The Signals output has been updated to display transformed values rather than raw values. This ensures consistency between applied transformations and downstream analytical outputs.
Early Warning System
Access Expansion: Access to the Early Warning System has been expanded with improved role-based permissions. Contributor roles can now manage and edit alerts. Viewer and Downloader roles can view alerts but cannot edit them. This update provides clearer separation of responsibilities while maintaining visibility across teams.
Bug Fixes
This update includes bug fixes related to:
Charting and Display
Resolved an issue in the Seasonality Test where switching frequency from Monthly to Quarterly caused labels to display only Quarter 1. Labels now correctly display Quarter 1 through Quarter 4.
Data Handling and Aggregation
Fixed an issue with the Statistics Canada data loader to ensure indicators load and update correctly.
Workbench and Model Experience
Resolved an issue where Predict jobs failed to display raw forecast results when the primary indicator display name had been changed. Predict results now display as expected.
Fixed an issue where swapping a primary indicator from a higher frequency such as Daily to a lower frequency such as Monthly did not update aggregation logic and prevented the Workbench from loading. Aggregation now updates correctly and the Workbench loads as expected.
